Set-up was extremely easy and I was able to do it all by my myself, essentially plug and play into a full A/V system. The remote is programmable for all gizmos from a B&K AVR through Sony DVD and SAT box.

The HDTV also offers a rich color supported by Color Burst and the dark black colors are achieved using the DynaLight. Full HD, removes the need to scale down a 1080 signal.The 3:2 pulldown feature of this LCD TV reduces artifacts that can occur when motion pictures are transferred to a digital format such as DVD.

The overall performance of the new Toshiba creations has my approval. I went through several customer reviews and I can tell for sure this a LCD TV you should have.  I heard that my parents are planning to through their 200 year old TV and buy new   Toshiba REGZA Cinema Series 42XV545U – $1,199 from Amazon.  I think it is a fair price for 42 inch LCD TV with HDTV support.
